Guidance & Counseling Services

Mission Statement:
Our mission of the Bellmawr School District Counseling Program is to provide a comprehensive guidance and counseling program that will support all students in acquiring knowledge, skills and behaviors desired to become responsible and productive students and overall lifelong learners. The professional school counselors work alongside administrators, teachers, faculty, parents, and students to ensure the mission's success. The School Counseling Program promotes a secure educational foundation for students, provides stable building blocks for healthy relationships, and promotes a growth mindset.

Restorative Reflection Rooms are part of Bellmawr's SEL Program and a Restorative Justice component of our Code of Conduct. The workshops (linked below) provide students with opportunities to reflect on their behavior and the effects their behaviors have on the larger community. In addition, students learn self-worth and coping techniques. Restorative reflection rooms are designed to create and maintain a caring and supportive school environment.
