The Bell Oaks Summer Book Club is designed to encourage students to develop a love for reading, complete their summer reading packet (graded), engage in meaningful discussions, and improve their literacy skills in a fun, social, and relaxed environment. The club aims to provide a place where students can get excited about reading in the summer to prevent any slippage and prepare them for their incoming grade.
Program Overview:
Duration: 6 weeks (Late June to Early August)
Meetings: Once a week (1.5-hour sessions)
Location: Bell Oaks
Communication: parents will join a Remind group
Book: Pre Selected Summer Reading
Cost: $50-$70 per student for entire Summer Program

The end of the year fun is in full swing. This past Thursday Bell Oaks had a 5th grade field trip to the Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor.
Don't miss the Pride Club's 3rd annual bake sale today and tomorrow at the main entrance of Bell Oaks at our 3:00 p.m. dismissal. All proceeds go to The William Way Community Center in Philadelphia.
