We would like to thank our board member, Bill Murray, for placing American flags at our schools today in honor of Patriot Day. Students, staff, and families were moved, and appreciated the show of support for those affected by the events of 9/11.
We would like to Spotlight Sophia from Bell Oaks who ran 2400 meters (approximately 1.5 miles) in 9:36.2! This is a school record! Mr. Senatore, her off season coach, reported this to the school today and told us to watch Sophia break more records! GREAT JOB SOPHIA!
Bell Oaks students and teachers enjoyed seeing old faces and welcoming new faces on the first day! What an exciting day for middle school!
Burke Students are so excited to be in school today! It is too hot to go outside, but that's okay-there is a lot of fun going on inside. The first day of school is the best day!
Mr. Williams joined Mrs. Sochor at the ACECC and Park schools to greet our students on their first day! It was great to see everyone smiling and happy to be there.
Some great messages are displayed for our students thanks to our "Chalk the Walk" event! "Plant kindness" and "Shine Bright" because "You Matter!" What a great way to start the year. Thank you for the inspiration. It is going to be a great 2023-2024 school year!
Park teachers stayed late in the heat to decorate for their students and parents got creative at the entrances! Thank you to everyone who contributed their amazing messages. The students will be so excited tomorrow-stay tuned for more pictures!
The heat did not stop the "Chalk the Walk" event from happening today! Board members Ms. Brennan and Mr. Joyce showed off their artistic skills and Mrs. Sochor and Mr. Maguire got inspired to join in! Stay tuned for more pictures and thank you for all who contributed their art!
Today was the conclusion of professional development. The theme for this year is "Plant a Positive Mindset" and we started with a mindfulness moment and some yummy treats. Everyone is looking forward to great 2023-2024 school year and can't wait to greet our students!

Teachers were back in school for professional development, curriculum planning, and principal meetings today! The schools are ready and the teachers are excited to have the students back on Thursday, but first, another day of professional development tomorrow.
Come out tomorrow to decorate for the first day of school! Supplies will be available at Burke, Park, and ACECC from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm as long as it doesn't rain! Hope to see you and the sun tomorrow!
